Jo
Anna Petrouleas
Founder/Director/Acting Coach
Jo Anna has been
acting for over twenty years, she studied at Michael Howard Studios
(NY), Beverly Hills Playhouse with Milton Katselas (LA),
Professional Acting Company with Gary Marshall, Al Onorato, Joe
Reich, Bobby Hoffman (LA), H.B. Studios (NY), Speech/Voice, Bob
Corff/Jo Anna Shields (LA), Dance, LA Dupree Dance Studio, Main
Street Studio. Her credits include just to mention few,
Knights of the City, Another World, Spoke person Ruffles Salon 1984
Winter Olympics, Deep Purple Music Video, Industrials for Sheraton
Hotels, Jordach Commercial, and many plays and print jobs. She
has directed and produced several plays at the Micheal J. Petrides
School and is proud to be able to share her life experiences, love
and knowledge of the theater with her students. Mrs.
Petrouleas shares two passions in life outside of her family: the
theater and children. |

Janet
Voice

|
Janet Pranschke, a
lyric soprano, has sung over 35 leading roles with opera companies
throughout the United States, and gained national recognition as a
Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions finalist and prize
winner in the Munich International Vocal Competition. She is a
former President of The New York Singing Teachers' Association and
the current Director of NYSTA's Professional Development Program.
NYSTA's Distinguished Voice Professional Certificate
was awarded her for completing the 5 course curriculum of
anatomy/physiology, acoustics, vocal health, repertoire and
comparative pedagogy. She also completed a 6 week voice
internship at Mt. Sinai Hospital and team-teaches with speech
therapists to rehabilitate injured voices. Janet has a BM from
Ithaca College Conservatory of Music and post graduate study at The
Juilliard School, and is on the voice faculty of Wagner College. |

| Nick
On-Camera

|
Nick is a
graduate from St. Johns University with a Bachelors Degree in Film
and Television Production. He is currently pursuing his Masters in
Film at The New School University in Manhattan. Nick has written and
directed several films and documentaries including Wide Awake, Wreck
Room, The Patriot Report and is in development on his first feature
length film to go into production in the Spring or Summer of 2007
under his recently formed company MarHel Films. Nick has performed
in numerous theater productions including “You Can’t Take it With
You”, Plaza Suite, and “A Funny Thing Happened at the Forum” with
St. John’s Universities Stagers Society. Nick is also employed at
The Weinstein Company in the Film Development Department. He has
taught an Acting for Film class at Theater in the Woods and recently
completed filming The Theater, which will be available for broadcast
and film festival viewing in early 2007. |

Dawn has recently finished her
first session working at Theater in the Woods and has already proven
to be a valuable member of the team.
Dawn is also a state
certified teacher.
She teaches Science at
the prestigious St. John Villa Academy High School .

Dance

Dance/Acting Experience: Studied at Mrs.
Rosemary's Dance Studio 1992-present for jazz, tap, ballet, pointe,
modern/lyrical; acting classes at Theater in the Woods; Fordham
Film Club.
Work Experience: Theater in the Woods; Mrs.
Rosemary's Summer Camp; Richmond Dance Ensemble Inc.'s "Outreach
Program". Choreography: Dance performances at
Petrides Highschool for "Bye-Bye Birdie", "The Wiz", "Guys and
Dolls", and "Sing 2005"; award winning Dance
Conventions.
Performances: Mrs. Rosemary's Recitals
1992-present; Richmondette for "The Christmas Spectacular" at St.
George Theater; "Bye-Bye Birdie", "The Wiz", "Guys and Dolls",

brandon Consultant
 |
brandon is a filmmaker and
photographer who works closely with Theater in the Woods.
The first "On-Camera"
instructor, his current involvement consists of photographing
headshots for our young actors, teaching the occasional special
seminar, and producing the Theater in the Woods commercials for
local cable.
He runs a
photography club that holds monthly shoots in Manhattan, and he is
currently working on a series of short videos with a published
author.
He is a graduate of
NYU's Tisch School of the Arts (Film & Television Production)
and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. |
